Who We Are

Good Bourbon for a Good Cause is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by Quarterback of Garrison Brothers Distillery Dan Garrison and his wife, Nancy Garrison on the core belief that good bourbon can change the world. The funds generated by GBGC-sponsored events are given to charities that support wide open spaces, healthcare for hospitality workers, veteran causes, and local community outreach. We measure our success based on the amount of good we do for the state of Texas.

IN AUGUST 2017, Hurricane Harvey tore through the Texas Gulf. Founder and Quarterback of Garrison Brothers Distillery Dan Garrison partnered with Team Rubicon disaster relief to alleviate the financial and physical burden of the disaster.

GARRISON PROMISED the first 1000 people who donated at least $500 an exclusive bottle of Hurricane Tough Straight Bourbon born out of the barrels filled the day the hurricane struck.
EVEN THOUGH the first 1000 slots filled up quickly, people continued to donate. The grand total raised was $144,468, and Garrison knew he had stumbled upon something much bigger than a singular project.
WE SAW THAT good bourbon can truly change the world, and Good Bourbon for a Good Cause was founded as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
